Prestressing Reinforcement Committee


Committee Mission: To review, evaluate, and report on properties, test procedures, and performance of prestressing reinforcement, including stress-strain characteristics, relaxation, corrosion, bond, and fatigue. To advise the industry on the proper use of prestressing reinforcement in the design and construction of precast, prestressed concrete structures, including handling, storing, tensioning, safe practices, and acceptance testing. To monitor and assist with changes to ASTM specifications pertaining to prestressing reinforcement.
