Committee Mission: To provide technical support for the specification, design, fabrication, construction and maintenance of precast and prestressed concrete in bridges and structures related to all forms of transportation systems such as highways, railroads and other mass transit systems. To cooperate with the AASHTO Committee on Bridges and Structures, AREA Committee 8, and other responsible agencies in developing, reviewing, and revising standards, specifications and recommended procedures for use of precast and prestressed concrete in bridges and structures.
